A beautiful open kitchen/floorplan is the leading feature for this "recently revitalized," 4 bedroom, 2 bath, 2,200 square foot home. The large, open, common area is spacious and beautifully decorated, providing a very comfortable space for family gatherings. The beds are cozy and reclinable sofas provide an extra level of comfort. Everything you need for an amazing stay is provided: 1GB high speed wi-fi, TVs in bedrooms and living room, a fully stocked kitchen and washer/dryer. The front porch provides beautiful sunset views, inviting one to sit, relax and allow peaceful evenings to rejuvenate the soul. As one opens the front door of main level of this home, immediately you enter a large, open space: immediately impressed by the high vaulted ceiling, the wide-open, floorplan extending from the living room into the beautifully provided, recently-renovated kitchen, and extending beyond into a beautifully decorated dining area. A huge, contemporary-styled, ceiling fan keeps the cool air of the AC in the summer and the heated air in the winter, flowing throughout the room. A large, flatscreen tv in the living room, surrounded by recliner couches tempts family members just to leave the luggage at the door and sit down and relax right away, deciding to unpack later! The kitchen has a large island right in the middle with 4 barstools and is the centerpiece of the floorplan, the place where some of the best food and conversation takes place. The kitchen has a refrigerator, dishwasher, a large pantry and stocked with all the kitchen amenities needed for a great eating experience (pots, dishes, utensils, plates, cups, mugs, toaster, coffee maker, etc). Beyond the kitchen, the open floorplan extends into a quieter, dining area with a large table that seats 6-8 people. Off the dining room, one of the bedrooms provides a Queen bed, dresser and a flatscreen tv. A beautiful staircase extends downstairs linking the two levels and is very convenient if a large party wanted to rent out the entire two levels. But for most rentals, the staircase simply dead ends into a dead bolted, double-locked door on both sides which only the property manager can unlock. Down the hallway is a guest bathroom on the left with a tub/shower combo with all the towels, washcloths, linens needed, plus, a large washing machine and dryer set for your convenience. Two bedrooms on the right provide queen beds and dressers, comfortable mattresses and beautiful views of the western sky, gentle hills beyond the small valley. At the end of the hallway is the master bedroom, beautifully decorated with a trey ceiling, a King bed and large flatscreen tv. Attached to the bedroom is the private master bathroom with a walk-in shower. Outside, a long front porch with comfortable seating invites guests to take their time, slow down, sip some lemonade or tea and watch beautiful sunsets dip below the gentle hills beyond and kiss the shallow valley goodnight. Location is definitely a plus with a stay in this unit in a quiet neighborhood, only a few miles from Southern Adventist University. Up the hill from this property, about 100 yds, is access to the university’s White Oak Mountain trail system—which boasts some of the best mountain biking and hiking trails in TN! The university is famous for its unique vegetarian and vegan cuisine. It also provides to the community, for only a small daily fee, access to a state of the art Hulsey Wellness Center: Cardio and weightlifting equipment Two Pools (Lap swim and Family pool) Hot tub Indoor rock climbing wall Mountain bikes for rent Frisbee golf course Tennis courts This upstairs living space is part of a two-unit property rental--the basement apartment often rented out as well. There is heavy insulation between the two levels, so neither party should hear the other, and a staircase that is double locked on both sides, with only the property manager able to unlock it.
