The room comes furnished with a desk and chair,dresser and closet. Bedding is provided and will be washed between each guest. Please note that this bedroom is beside the kitchen, and shares an adjoining bathroom with another bedroom (Jack and Jill style). The door to the bathroom can only be locked from the bedroom side. Please ask if you do not understand this setup. There is no lock for the main bedroom door The house has central cooling and heating, and is equipped with wifi. One Curious Hauz was built in 1908 - it is charming, but as a 109-year-old house, is by no means perfect. This house is a shared living space. No smokers allowed. You’re welcome to access the common areas- kitchen equipped with basic appliances, utensils, and serving ware and living room with a smart 4K TV (Netflix, no cable). I'll be mostly around during the weekends, and happy to provide recommendations of things to do and explore in the Chambana area. One Curious Hauz is located in the historic West Urbana Neighborhood. It is peaceful and safe, with beautiful tree lined streets. A lovely place for an evening stroll! One Curious Hauz is located less than a quarter mile to Lincoln Square mall where you can catch several bus lines and home to a lovely farmer's market (summer-early fall), and downtown Urbana where the bars, restaurants, and shops are located. Less than one mile to the main U of I quad, perfect for biking or walking. The nearest bus line (green) is on Green Street, only about a 3 minute walk. Public transportation (taxis, buses, Uber) is readily available in Champaign-Urbana. One Curious Hauz is an old house and am constantly improving it. It is an ongoing project which I am very passionate about. It is not without flaws.
