The 2-story cabin's interior is a warm rustic knotted pine wood. Get your group outside of Lawton, whip up a warm meal in the fully equipped kitchen, relax inside or explore the properties many outdoor amenities. Roast marshmallows are the fire pit, skip rocks at the pond, or just sit on the front porch with a glass of ice tea. • LIVING ROOM is furnished with a leather couch and 2 plush recliners (that will suck you in) while watching a movie on the flat screen Smart TV that includes Netflix and Amazon Video. •BEDROOMS have Queen beds(New Mattress 2022) decorated with Clint and Melissa's unique vintage pieces and cozy quilts coverlet in the summer, down comforters in winter. • UPSTAIRS LOFT with 2 twin beds, a full size bed. The loft also has a 32" flat screen TV, DVD player, and Amazon firestick for entertainment. •Enjoy Board Games and Puzzles •Pack n Play Provided for extra little guests upon request. •BATHROOM has a jetted tub with shower. We supply a blow dryer, some toiletries, and towels. Please bring your own towels for outdoor use. There are some beach towels at the pool area, but just in case. • KITCHEN is fully stocked ready to whip up your group/soldier's favorite meal. You can also brew up a pot of coffee at the drink station. Coffee, sugar, and creamer provided. •FIRE PIT with 4 chairs is near pond directly across from cabin. We provide firewood and metal s’mores/ hot dog sticks for guests to enjoy that special nighttime snack. Watch the turtles sunbath on the logs in the pond. At nighttime, you can hear the coyotes howl in the distant pastures. POND The rustic mostly farm pond is located 50 yards away directly across from the cabin. We did have it stocked by local wildlife management out of Medicine Park with spawn fish in 2021. You are welcome to fish, but we do not make any guarantees :) At this time, we do not supply fishing poles and tack. •PORCH is a magical place. String lights and cozy seating provide the stage needed for guests to relax together and enjoy the nature show. Sunrises in the east with coffee and Sunsets in the west with ice tea or wine. •CHARCOAL/PROPANE GRILL just steps off porch. Charcoal, Utensils, and lighter fluid provided for guests use. •OUTSIDE the cabin there is a full basketball and volleyball Court provided for guests to use at the Ranch's private courts. Along with a wooden Playset. POOL/SPLASH PAD OPEN MAY 30, 2022 and CLOSES SEPT 2022. The fenced and gated pool is located inside the courtyard area (450ft away) near entry of ranch. The Pool’s deepest end is 5 1/2. We licensed by the Comanche County Health Dept, so there are specific rules we must follow for the safety of guest. No LIFEGUARD is on duty. Please no unsupervised children. There are some water toys and beach towels located inside the pool bathroom. Enjoy the poolside lounge chairs and shaded table chair set together with your family. Guest will have private access to the cabin. All the outdoor amenities are shared with Pepper Sprout Ranch guests also staying at 2 other small rental units on the 32 acre property. There is plenty of space between the cabin and other units to not be bothered by other guests. Est- 100-150 yards apart. March 2022- We have moved our family to the ranch, in a property across from the pond. Our family is beginning the journey to grow a garden, raise some small farm animals such as chickens, pigs, a couple cows and donkeys on the 32 acre property. As we introduce animals, we would love to share them with our guests. We currently have 2 dogs ( Murphy and Belle) ourselves who are very friendly and mostly roam freely on the property. We apologize if they try to come inside the rentals with you :) We look forward to sharing our little down to earth ranch with guests, but plan to give y’all plenty of space. Homes nearby are all spaced apart by acreage. There are paved roads to get to the property. The ranch is very much in the "plains" region of Oklahoma. It is not uncommon to see deer and rabbits or hear coyotes in the distance. 20.7 miles to Ft. Sill Welcome Center 26.4 miles to Lawton-Ft. Sill Airport 70 miles from Will Rogers Airport in OKC The ranch does not have access to municipal transportation and a cab from Lawton would be very costly. Driving your own person car or renting is your best option. **THERE ARE MULTIPLE AREAS OF WATER AT THE RANCH. Children must supervised at all times. By booking you accept responsibility for your guests safety. The cabin is located on rural secluded land with rolling hills. The internet/WIFI connection can be weak at times. This will make it difficult for multiple devices etc. Please do not take blankets or towels outside of the rentals. Please do not drive on grass as much has possible. Pets are only allowed with prior approval. 2 DOG LIMIT. PET FEE. Pets should be on a leash at all times. This is a new property of ours and we are there almost daily doing mowing, construction, etc. We will always communicate the plans to guests during their stay and never disrupt activities during sleeping/rest times.
