You are renting in a downtown historic district with picturesque homes lining Main Street. We are located less than 1/2 of a mile to the town square of Murfreesboro where you will find a variety of delicious dining options, trendy shops, bakeries, coffee cafes, bars, historic courthouse with museum and barber shops. Being downtown we are near the fire station and police department, the boys in blue sometimes get bored and you will hear them playing with their sirens . Car music on occasion. You are within easy walking distance to Jr's Market about 1/4 of a mile and less than half a mile to the town square where you will find the courthouse with museum, many shopping and dining options. You will also be conveniently located less than a mile from MTSU, go Blue Raiders! This Victorian cottage is on the grounds of a historic estate and carriage house. Please stay on the property allotted to the cottage. We are happy to show you the grounds if we are available during your stay. History of the homes can be found in the guidebook on the table by the front door. Also note in the formal entry you can see the layers of original wallpaper that was uncovered during remodeling (some hand painted).
