Just Renovated!!! Be our guests in our 2 bedroom retreat just minutes from Cornell's central campus. Close to East Hill Plaza. Our space is family friendly. Located on a dead end private road, you'll be able to take a walk in the woods, play in the park nearby, or relax in our hammocks with a good book. We take pride in making sure our beds and linens are super comfy and that everything is very clean. All new furnishings, amenities and brand new kitchen are sure to make your stay spectacular! This space is located in the lower level of a neighborhood home. It walks out to a private backyard. Enjoy the back patio as you relax after a long hike or in apartment massage (can be set up by local message therapist) It is a private apartment, with 2 bedrooms, a nice a bathroom with stand-up shower and in floor radiant heat, a brand new kitchen, dining area, and living room. Since this is a walk-out apartment we ask you to respect the shared outdoor space with our upstairs tenants. The cement patio is your private space to enjoy. This is a private residential neighborhood and a duplex house so we do ask that you limit your noise after 10 pm and before 8 am. The entrance to our apartment is accessible by walking on a slight downward slope to the backside of our house. There is a stone pathway that leads from the driveway to the apartment entrance. There are a few steps. The path is lit at night as well. Our house is powered by Solar panels and inside you'll have a whole house water filtration system and whole-house air filtration system. We clean with non-toxic cleaners and wash our linens with fragrance-free soap. The entire house is available for rent if you have a bigger group coming. All together the house can sleep 12 and has 6 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms Private entrance off back patio. Large living area with kitchen. dining area, 2 comfortable bedrooms; 1 with a queen bed and the second with 2 twin beds. A twin air mattress or pack n play is available upon request. An updated bathroom with radiant floor heat and stand up shower with bench. The back patio has spaces for relaxing, if you bring your kids they can run around in our backyard or at the park behind our house. We have a smart-lock that lets you gain entrance to the apartment. There is a bbq and some patio furniture on the patio to enjoy the tranquil backyard We will be available at check in if needed and during your stay if you have any questions or concerns. We have a smart lock on the exterior door, and we will give you a private code the day of check-in. Quiet dead end road just minutes to Cornell's campus and downtown Ithaca. Our road had no streetlights so it will be dark at night. The home backs up to a town park with hiking trails, playground, basketball courts, and more. Just a short walk to the TCAT bus #51 which runs daily every hour. The bus stop is on the road behind our house and can either be reached by walking through the park, or walking on the road around the block. If you prefer we have parking spots for 2 cars or are an easy Uber/Lyft ride from anywhere in Ithaca. We are close to everything, but walking to Cornell would take well over an hour, so expect to either bring your car, RideShare or use public transportation while here. Or if you prefer we have plenty of parking spots or are an easy Uber/Lyft ride from anywhere in Ithaca. We are nearby to East Ithaca Rec Trail: a walking trail that is paved and goes all the way to Cornell campus, or you could bring your bikes and bike anywhere you need to. We are close to everything, but walking to Cornell would take well over an hour, so expect to either bring your car, RideShare or use public transportation while here. Nearest Bus stop on #51: 2/10th or 3/10th of a mile. a 5 min walk. Six Mile Creek Vineyard: 1 mile East Hill Plaza/P&C Grocery Store: 1.7 mile Mulholland Wildflower preserve: 2.6 miles Cornell University: 3 miles Ithaca Commons/Downtown 3.4 miles Ithaca College: 4.5 miles (We do not recommend depending on the bus to get to IC.) Walmart: 5 miles Target: 5.5 miles Buttermilk Falls State Park: 5.6 miles Taughannock Falls State Park: 12.7 miles Watkins Glen State Park: 27.3 miles - We are kid friendly. We have an extra pack n play, high chair, baby bathtub, and anything else you would need for baby while here. While our house is kid friendly, it is not kid-proofed, meaning we do not have outlet covers, cabinet locks, etc. Our kids are young as well and this setup has worked well for us. If you would like anything outside of what we already have listed, please feel free to bring whatever you think your family needs. - Please supervise anyone under 18 at all times and do not leave children alone in the apartment. - This is a private residential neighborhood and a duplex house so we do ask that you limit your noise after 10pm and before 8am -There is a main level house on the level above this apartment.
