On the north side of town, you'll enjoy walking to several local restaurants, rec center/pool, river trail, grocery store, and hiking trails. In the summer time, relax on the front deck while you overlook beautiful Animas Mountain. It's open and spacious with a comfortable, cozy feel. The deck provides 3-season lounging in fresh air with views of Animas Mountain. The kitchen is fully equipped for all of your cooking needs: new appliances (dishwasher, range, full-size fridge, microwave; all brand new/stainless steel), coffee maker, cups, glasses, plates and bowls, flatware, pots/pans. Counter top bar seats 4. Open living room has a comfortable sofa that converts to a queen bed, lounge/rocking chair, ottoman and end tables. Smart TV, games and DVD player are available for evening relaxing and family fun. The private bedroom has a queen size bed, high ceilings, 2 nightstands, dresser and full size closet. Bedding is provided. The modern bathroom has a large walk-in shower, soft, new towels, and a large vanity for personal storage. The Uptown Durango Loft is located above the garage attached to our home. This is second-story unit with stair access to the left of the garage. No shared walls or people living above or beneath you makes it quiet. There is a private balcony through the french doors off of the living room and kitchen area with a gas BBQ grill and chairs to relax outside. Eco-friendly shampoo, conditioner and body wash is provided from Durango WeFill. Toilet paper & paper towels are also provided for your stay. This property does have AC in the main living space. Evenings are cool, and with fans and plenty of windows the summer heat is easily managed. Extended Stay (over 7 days): Host will spot check the property every 7 days and provide fresh linens and remove trash. Advanced notice will be provided. 1 parking spot is available in the driveway at the bottom of the stairs for one small vehicle. Additional free street parking is available.
