The original Brigham Farm included Brigham Park and Cave of the Mounds, both of which are adjacent to this property and are easily accessed. In fact, you will receive FREE tickets to visit the Cave when you book with us! An extension of the Military Ridge Bike Trail comes up along this property, so it's great for bike rides! Additionally, we have a diverse population of birds so you will love hanging out on the big front porch or hiking nearby to spot and listen to their songs! Blue Mounds Sate Park is less than 3 min drive and Mount Horeb is 7 min away with shops, food, and more outside fun! The west side of Madison is 20 minutes away so great day trips or just dining. In the surrounding area we have so many destinations to explore... Mineral Point's art galleries, New Glarus historic village and brewery, Spring Green's riverfront and American Players Theater. There are wonderful wineries, golfing, and shopping to be had! You will have access to the entire house and grounds. You will receive FREE passes to Cave of the Mounds for each guest staying at the property! The Garage is off limits, but there is ample outside parking for multiple vehicles. Rural Blue Mounds Wisconsin located in rolling hills of the Driftless Region. Our house is very private located at the end of a long driveway, off Cave of the Mounds Road (County Road F). We are across the street from the National Natural Landmark, Cave of the Mounds, which is part of the original Brigham Farm. All guests will receive free passes to the Cave! We have parking for 4-5 cars at the house. You will want to drive to nearby locations for hiking, dining and any other entertainment. However, we are located right beside Brigham Trail which connects to Military Ridge State Trail. This connects east to Madison's Capital Trail network and west to Dodgeville/ Mineral Point. So bring your bikes and enjoy exploring the Driftless! This property is uniquely set up for wheelchair accessibility and can accommodate folks that don't want to deal with stairs. We have a King Bedroom Suite on the 1st floor with a full, accessible bath and screened porch right off the kitchen. There is a large living/ dining great room, study and very big front porch all accessible on the 1st floor. The sidewalk leading around the house to the patio with fire table and grill is also easily accessible.
