The Bird Cabin is one of the four 1920's built mining camp cabins. location in the upstart intentional community of Bristol Park. Seconds from hot springs! Rests on the mountain side with a view of the meadows, and the Portneuf river rushing below. The Bird Cabin is a quaint and bright cabin. With its mint-chip interior, It will steel your heart away for a night back in time. One full-size bed, a chair, and a small counter, this cabin is refreshing with its simplicity, and has a beautiful view of the mountainside. We are a Rustic Farm-like environment. A self-serve waffle breakfast is provided form 8-10am Guests will have 10+ acres of yard space, and a fire-pit and open fire grill for use. We live at the base of a mountain, so there is plenty of mountain side to explore. We are just a short walk away from down town lava hot springs where shopping, tubing the river, and soaking in the many springs is available. Hosts may or may not be on the property at any time during your stay guests are subject to self-check ins that will be directed before guests arrival. Usually there is a host here through out the grater parts of the day. One host lives on property. Other campgrounds, mountain-side, train town. tourist friendly. Lots of hiking. Parking is available for about one car per guest here on the property within 100 feet or less from your cabin. We are 0.02 miles from downtown Lava Hot Springs, and there is a walking path. Its a two hour drive to Yosemite, Jackson hole, and Salt Lake City. We are 18 miles from Big Springs National forest and camping as well, which is a great place to hike and explore.
