The unit is in a rustic country setting on a dead end gravel road. Although it feels as though you are far away from everything, you are only 7 miles from the University of Missouri, and we provide free transportation to and from all weekend sporting events on campus, including football games. We are very close to the hiking and nature trails, the Missouri River, and the local winery. Our setting is unique and creates the sense that you have truly gotten away from the hustle and bustle of life. Guests have their own private entrance to a private mother-in-law apartment that sleeps four. In May of 2018 the unit was updated with brand new appliances, remodeled kitchen, beds and bedding. There is one full size bed and a futon that folds out into a full size bed with a bunk bed on top. This includes sliding glass doors that walk out to a wooded yard and patio with access to a gas grill and fire pit. The private hallway has a washer and dryer and a large pantry stocked with food that guests may use. There is a private newly remodeled bathroom with a walk in shower at the end of the hallway. Although the home is located on a gravel road in a rustic setting, it is only 15 minutes from town. Guests will have access to a private entrance and room, private kitchen, private bathroom, private entrance to patio, backyard is shared, private pantry. Guests will have use of the BBQ grill and large fire pit. The entrance is located at the foot of the driveway and guests may park at their door for easy access. We live in another section of the house and are available for questions. You can experience the best of both worlds here. We live in a very rustic neighborhood, located in the outskirts of Columbia. While it is very private it is also close to main city attractions such as downtown and the Mizzou campus. Guests can park in the driveway, right by their private entrance. Although Uber is approximately $20.00 to get to downtown Columbia, we do provide free transportation to and from all weekend sporting events at the University, including home football games!
