The Blue House infuses the accommodations of a hotel with the comfort of home and honestly probably one of the best most central locations you can find in Ann Arbor. The home comes stocked with all travel essentials including bathroom essentials and clean and cozy bedroom sheets and quilts/comforters. We stock water, soda, and beers in the fridge for our guests convenience (we only ask that if you are going take more than a few, leave some extra cash so housekeeping can grab more for the next guest). We also provide the comforts of home, such as high end finishes, high thread count linens, Ethan Allen and custom furniture, a fully equipped kitchen, extra linens and blankets, and other home essentials. We have a shed in the back that contains extra coolers, a Weber Grill, Cornhole and other fun items that you are free to use during your stay with us. There are two bedrooms located on the 2nd floor of the home. Each bedroom is equipped with a queen-size bed and a closet for storage. There is also a family room that can be converted into an extra sleeping room, with a comfy Ethan Allen couch, and a blow-up mattress (extra linens and pillows in closet). We would love to have you come out and stay here while you visit your college student, during the art fair, a football, basketball or hockey game, or really any time you might be coming in to Ann Arbor. Please feel free to use our new fully renovated kitchen or the Weber grill (in the shed) to cook at home or enjoy one of the fantastic nearby restaurants within walking distance. Our high speed internet will take care of all of your business needs, from emails to uploading media. Enjoy a cup of coffee or tea on us as you work. The best part? The entire home is yours for the stay. You will be given a digital access code that will allow easy come and go. You will have access to the 2 parking spots as well as the shed (please be sure to put back any shed items and lock at end of stay). It'll be easy to make yourself at home and we hope you will come and stay with us again! You will have private access to the entire home. You will have access to both parking spaces (1 covered) and could also use street parking if more that 2 cars will be driven. We are Ann Arbor locals (well, I guess technically we WERE locals, but now we live innearby Dexter, but honestly very close and we are happy to respond to a quick email, text, or take a call if there were ever to be an issue. This might be one of the best locations for Airbnb houses that you can find in in Ann Arbor. It is literally 5 blocks from the football stadium (to the south) and 5 blocks to downtown (Main street is well known for the great restaurants and bars). Washtenaw Dairy is a block away and a local favorite for donuts and ice cream... There are lots of other hidden treasures nearby that we hope you will read about in our Guest Booklet while you are here. Super walkable location but there are also, pedicabs that run around the downtown area, as well as buses and cabs. Uber and Lyft also have a large presence and are very quick generally.
