We follow CDC guidelines for cleaning, sanitizing and allergen procedures if the prior guest brought their fur baby. A cozy cottage weekly or contact host. Nestled in the tall pines and surrounded by perennial gardens, Spring Lake Views and easy access to all activities in the tri-cities. Hosting in excess of the two bedrooms (an extra guest sleeping on the comfy couch is $45.) Contact us for additional details and possibility of pet approval. Weekly rates and contact us for special rates. This is the garden unit of our home with two bedrooms and each containing one comfy queen size bed. We have a very comfortable queen size air mattress that can be rented for $45 with all linens. We are 5oo feet off the main road down a 2-track to our secluded, quiet setting. It feels remote but you are minutes away from all the tri-city activities. Due to the stairwell, this space is not suitable for the disabled. Easy access to the drawbridge. minutes to: the city of Grand Haven and Spring Lake, Lots of beautiful beaches, fun pubs and taverns, elegant dining, and the pier (if you're lucky you can see our surfers and wind riders), Also Coast Guard Park, North Shore beach and the sand dunes, You can try out your fitness at the challenging stairway of North Shore, watch the fishing boat charters come in and clean their fish at the fish cleaning station, visit local marinas, outdoor markets, antique treasures, art shows, craft shows, and ride the Grand Haven Trolley just like Mr. Rogers). Come on over....bike, run, walk, dance or skate because your in the heart of summer fun. Our spanking new bike path is at the end of our private driveway and it can take you anywhere you want to go. The garden unit contains many pieces of autographed historical pieces representing our proud history (after all, this IS Coast Guard City, USA). The artwork may be purchased from us. PLEASE, if you want to bring your fur baby it’s an extra $50. fee, and you must have our permission first/ vet record;s and a crate are required. Guests have the use of all common areas of the garden unit and feel free to roam our gardens. There is abundant parking for your vehicles and any toys you bring with you. If needed, we can lock your bikes up in my garage. We don't allow cooking in the unit but there are coffee maker, a microwave and a small refrigerator (with freezer) provided for your use. There are so many wonderful places to dine or snack nearby and we can suggest my favorites. OUR PROPERTY DOES NOT ACCESS THE LAKE SO PLEASE RESPECT THE PRIVACY OF THE NEIGHBORS and do not use their private driveways to access Spring Lake. We've recently installed security cameras on the private driveway (not the gardens) along with the personal garage and storage shed and storage unit ( in the garden level ). The garden level storage unit is locked and that area contains a security camera. There are no security cameras or devices anywhere in living areas of the garden unit or anywhere you might enjoy a quiet stroll in our gardens. I'm certain you will enjoy your stay No pets without prior approval from us. There is a special cleaning procedure I have to order when a dog has been in the unit so there is an additional fee and the dog must be approved by us prior to your stay. There is a family living in the upper level of the property acting as caretakers. In addition, the owner is available via telephone or email. Quiet times must be respected between 10 pm and 7 am. We have two dogs who will welcome you and want to play immediately, a border collie (Pepper) and a long-haired miniature daschund Jackson (AKA Jaxx). They are very friendly and will want to cuddle and play. We do not allow them in the garden unit so despite their begging to come in and play with you, please do not let them in. We are close to everything but secluded and private. A walk out of the wooded 540+ foot driveway to the right will take you to parks, shopping malls, lots of eating establishments, the village of Fruitport (the Frontier Days Festival), public boating access and easy access to US-31 and I-96. A short walk to the closest park to the right is a pleasant 1/2 mile. A short walk to the left takes you to the REEF party store, a cute childrens Park, a stroll past Spring Lake, Smiths Bayou and the Smith's Bayou bridge where pan fishing off the bridge is a popular past time. You often see a variety of teen agers cooling off by jumping into the water off the bridge. Our neighborhood is located with easy access to the Grand Haven famous drawbridge which takes you to downtown Grand Haven (3 miles by car. bike, walk, skate or run). We are located in an area of "upscale" well kept homes 2 blocks from the Spring Lake Sailing Club with Lake views which are beautiful in any season from the ground or the decks. The well maintained NEW bike path provides an enjoyable ride around the lake into Grand Haven, Lake Michigan and Spring Lake beaches, fishing access and just about anywhere you desire on the shoreline. Please honor the private property of the neighbors and do not walk down their private driveways to the lake. Walk, bike, roller blade, run, skateboard, scooter or drive. In addition, the charming Harbor Transit Trolley and/or transit bus will provide curb service for excellant public transportation. Harbor Transit serves the tri-cities area connecting of Spring Lake, Ferrysburg and Grand Haven for a small fee. Please honor the private property of the neighbors and do not walk down their private driveways to the lake. You have easy access to everything from Belle Fleur. Your choice: walk, bike, roller blade, run, skateboard, scooter or drive. In addition, the charming Harbor Transit Trolley and/or transit bus will provide door to door public transportation for the tri-cities area connecting of Spring Lake, Ferrysburg and Grand Haven for a small fee. Call them for a pick up and be aware that they may not be available on the 4th of July. We are on the NEW bike path that pretty much takes you anywhere and as far as you want to go along the shoreline. You are riding/walking distance to the beaches (Spring Lake, Muskegon and Lake Michigan about about 3 1/2 miles to the Lake Michigan beaches). There you'll find fishing, kite flying, surfers, wind riders, shopping, blueberry picking (in season), the sand dunes for walking and climbing, power boat marinas, sailing, golfing, music, comedy shows, festivals (we have festivals all summer but the Salmon and Coast Guard are HUGE INTERNATIONAL HITS), fishing charters, taverns, bistros and pubs, museums, memorials, a massive variety of lakeshore activities too long to list. Cross the famous drawbridge and you’re in Grand Haven for all the summer festivals, craft and art shows. Our Belle Fluer "get-a-away" gives you perfect and easy access to the Tri-cities but in a cozy, private out of the hustle and bustle of the typical "tourist traps" . We are very close to neighborhood stores, restaurants, Spring Lake and Lake Michigan. Our guests love to walk and bike around everywhere they go and we often don't see them during their stay because they are out early in the morning and back late at night. The pathways are light all night long. Each bedroom has 1 queen size bed.. NOTE We have a comfortable queen-size air mattress that can be placed on the living room floor for a $50. fee with includes all towels and linens.
