Relax with the whole family at this peaceful, private, and safe home. This is a 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom residential home. It is located on a quiet dead end road. Only a 5-15min drive to attractions in the area. -National Golf Course 1.7 miles -Pinederosa Park (playground, splash pad, bball courts) 1 mile -Prien Lake Mall 12 miles -Golden Nugget/L'Auberge Casino/Resort 11 miles -State Park 2.5 miles -Creek to fish in 2 minute walk -Sandy Beach 6 miles -Lots of places to eat -Highspeed Internet *Dead end road *Only a 5-15 minute drive to most attractions *Nice low traffic road for walking *Bayou cypress trees *Creek that connects to the river *Safe *Pet friendly(please confirm the type and number of pets before booking) -Our family (me, wife, 2 kiddos) live out of the country the majority of the year assisting in our Christian Ministry so we use our home as an Airbnb while we are gone to help cover living expenses. -This is Louisiana which is one of the most bug infested states in the US and on top of that my home is around woods and water so it is automatic for the social bugs(mosquito & outdoor tree roach) to try to come in and hang out with you. We do more than double the amount of pest control because of it. If a mosquito sneaks in feel free to turn on the bug light(behind TV), dim or turn off lights and he will get exterminated soon. Please avoid eating in the bedrooms because of how easy it is to attack unwanted guest from outside. -If you leave food out or crumbs around the house the outdoor tree roach will take that as your open invitation to come in and break bread with you or the next guest. -Our home is 4-5 feet off the ground. If you are elderly or have knee problems I want whats best for you so I respectfully ask you to book something esle on a flat surface. -If you are the type person that would try make evidence or say our home was not cleaned just to get a refund. Just remember I can pull outdoor security footage and verify the time my cleaners came and left and send that to my airbnb support. I just had a horrible guest that was clearly lying with a lack of evidence and she was ruled against by airbnb. She got furious for getting exposed for lying and used the threat of a nasty review to blackmail me into giving her a refund. I gave her a 100% refund and she still left a lying 1-star review and sadly airbnb said they can't remove a review unless its racist . So please understand going forward the only way you will get a refund is by identifying the issue on arrival, and then sending picture evidence immediately. If you truly have evidence I will absolutely refund you and you must leave immediately. The con job of staying half or all your trip then trying to complain and take advantage me to get your stay for free is over. -For the first two years of hosting our home on Airbnb we have welcomed every single person that requested to stay at our home until now. When we have a problem guest, we are prompted to take the time and go back and look at our ourdoor security footage for red flags. With that video footage we have found an undeniable pattern that by far the most destructive, dirtiest, and disrespectful guest bookings have had a person that sag their pants off their behinds. From Airbnbing my home I have learned that if someone does not have enough respect for their fellow humans to appropriately cover up private parts in front of them then how can I expect them to respect my non-human home. It’s sadly just not worth the money, risk, and headache anymore. -The bedrooms include blackout windows for guest that work nights shifts and the ones that just like it pitch black when they sleep.
